PAT HARRINGTON

Offering an exciting youthful exuberance directly from Gasport, NY, Pat Harrington delivers a breath of fresh air to the well established Wainwright clan. The Train, Wainwright’s newest project with WildRoots veterans Billy Dean and Terrence Grayson, was indeed on a mission to discover the perfect fourth member. What they got, was a red hot ember ready to ignite the coal-fed steam engine that would take The Train across the globe.

Eight years prior to Pat joining The Train, he himself was gaining a reputation locally as one of the most talented and promising musicians of the area.  He forged friendships and played alongside many of his heroes, including Gary Clark Jr. and Bobby Whitlock of Derek And The Dominos/George Harrison fame.

There is no doubt that Harrington has helped usher in a brand new era for Wainwright and his Train. Known for their extensive showcasing of each band member on the stage, Pat has become renown for his ability to tell a rich story with his dynamically built guitar leads, taking the listener on a beautiful and vivid journey with a seemingly limitless top, extending the bands predilection for exciting improvised sections.

After joining the band officially in early 2016, Pat Harrington has been added to the conversation of best young guitarists on the blues scene.  His contributions to the bands forthcoming album, "Victor Wainwright And The Train" are sure to help push 2016's Blues Music Awards Band Of The Year to even further heights.

Pat Harrington is currently based in Memphis Tennessee.
